On Sunday, October 5, Walnut Park came alive as University Union, the Student Government Association, and Greek Council hosted Harvest Fest, a student-run celebration that united Syracuse University students and community members for an afternoon of fall-themed fun. With autumn air, upbeat music, and a vibrant lineup of vendors and activities, the event was the perfect kickoff to October and the fall season, getting everyone outside to enjoy a sunny Sunday in the park.
Harvest Fest featured an array of attractions, including a student DJ competition, inflatables, lawn games, a photo booth, and a lineup of food trucks offering seasonal favorites. Attendees browsed stands from local Syracuse vendors and small businesses, exploring handmade jewelry, vintage clothing, and other unique finds. Free refreshments gave visitors a chance to relax and recharge as they wandered through the bustling park.
