Hello from The Universe! Love is in the air this Valentine’s Day, so we’ve prepared a timeless playlist of love songs to help you celebrate. Enjoy!

God is Fair, Sexy Nasty - Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar

Arguably Mac’s best love song, this eight-minute masterpiece is as much a song about the sensual aspects of love while also a testament to true love in the monologue by Mac’s grandmother at the end of the song about her relationship with her husband over the years. This under-appreciated track is the perfect ending to The Divine Feminine, Mac’s 2016 album made during his relationship with Ariana Grande.

Lost Without You - Brad Stank

Self-proclaimed creator of the “Sexistentialism” genre and alternative British underground veteran, Brad Stank, returns in 2026 with one of his catchiest choruses. Stank’s signature deep voice rests over a bed of luscious guitar, and the feature by two blinks, i love you matches Stank’s energy perfectly.

My Cherie Amour - Stevie Wonder

One can’t make a love song playlist without including Stevie Wonder. This song makes you feel like you’re living in your own romance movie, and features an unforgettable chorus.

‘Till Forever - Labi Siffre

Albeit a short song, British singer-songwriter legend Labi Siffre owns this track with a soft and subtle performance, with only his guitar. Siffre is among the first openly gay musicians, and remains a staple of British music in the 70s.

Love Takes Miles - Cameron Winter

“Love will make you fit it all in your car.”

Cameron Winter of Geese has undergone a rush of virality over the past year, with as many diehard fans as haters. “Love Takes Miles” is a quirky, yet lush, song about the power love holds.

Just The Way You Are - Barry White

On the Late Show with Conan O’Brien, Barry White said he meets people “all the time” who say they were conceived to one of his songs, which, if you know his music, is unsurprising. “Just The Way You Are” is originally a Billy Joel song, but White’s smooth singing on his cover makes for one of his best vocal performances.

Baby, I Love You - Ramones

The Ramones’ cover of The Ronettes 1964 song, “Baby, I Love You,” became one of the biggest hits of the punk band’s career. Over a soaring orchestra-led chorus, this song gets stuck in your head in the best way possible.

Love Is - Robert Lester Folsom

Robert Lester Folsom is a relatively unknown name from the 70s psychedelic folk scene, who’s only gaining traction in recent years in the age of social media. Featuring a beautiful flute part and Folsom’s soft vocals, this song remains a timeless love song, despite its many years flying under the radar.

Favourite - Fontaines D.C.

Fontaines D.C. wrote a perfect pop-rock anthem with this song. Led by an energetic and hypnotic lead guitar, lead singer Grian Chatten lays down some of his catchiest vocals of the band’s career to make a song that really gives the feeling of flying.

Why Don’t We Fall in Love - Amerie

An early-2000s R&B classic with influences from Mary J. Blige and Aaliyah, Amerie’s “Why Don’t We Fall in Love” makes for the perfect love song for Valentine’s Day. The rich instrumental, produced by Rich Harrison, is a head-bobbing inducing work of art.
